On the evening of Tuesday 14th March, we held our third Celebration of Languages for Senior School students and this year, due to the restoration of the Great Hall, it took place in the Dining Room . The evening was hosted by our College Language Leaders and included a mixture of sketches, poetry, songs, Indian dancing, instrumental performances, and recitations in Latin, German, Welsh, Spanish, French and English. The evening culminated in a rousing, multilingual rendition of Justin Timberlake’s, Can’t Stop the Feeling, which was a very fitting end to the evening. Our kitchen staff spoiled us with a delicious buffet of French, German, Welsh and Spanish delicacies. It was lovely evening and we would like to thank all the parents who came to support us and, of course, all the students who participated.
