A trip to the theatre almost ended in tears when Year 11 attended the latest production of the Willy Rusell musical Blood Brothers, which revolves around Mickey and Eddie, twins who were separated at birth, one raised in a wealthy family, the other in a poor family. The students and staff from the English Department were completely enthralled by the moving interpretation of their GCSE text and there was hardly a dry eye in the house when the curtain closed.
"It's the best production I've ever seen!" said Akanksha S.
"It's really going to be helpful because it was such a memorable experience," added Esme B.
"Blood Brothers is not one you'll want to miss. It's a pure whirlwind of emotion, tied together with a haunting score, performed by a top class cast... It will hook you in." Ellie M.
