Christmas Poetry Competition

Did you know that at the bottom of the Christmas Tree, which stands in Trafalgar Square, there is a poem?  Written by a professional poet commissioned by The Poetry Society since 2009, each year the poem is based on work written by children in Westminster primary schools.  The work celebrates the gift of the Christmas Tree from Norway.
Not to be outdone, and inspired by the Year 7 Winter Haikus, Connie won our very own Christmas poetry competition.  Her poem was displayed in the library beneath the Christmas Trees and you can read it below too!  Many congratulations also go to runners up Maddie and Carys.  Well done girls!
