On Tuesday 10th October, the Year 7 netball squad had their first match against Bishop of Llandaff. After a strong start from the Bishop team, the Howell's A team came off at half time 4-1 down. With some encouragement and improvements they went on for the second half, playing much better as a team. The final score was 4-1. Well done to Isabella Gray, player of the match.
The B team narrowly lost, in what was a well-fought game. There was improvement throughout by all players, but sadly Bishop of Llandaff scored in the last couple of seconds, and the game finished 5-4. Well done to Ella Ridgwell, who got player of the match.
Well done to all that played, overall a promising start for the Year 7 netball squad.
