Love Your Library

This week, as part of our ‘Happiness & Wellbeing’ theme in the Library, we celebrated Valentine’s Day by asking our Year 7 students to share what they loved about their Learning, Library or Lunch and it has been wonderful to read their comments!

Lucy said ‘I love my learning because…it will help me when I am older and I LOVE learning new things’
Becky said ‘I love my learning because…it helps me be educated for my future’
Sommer said ‘ I love my lunch because…the cooks make it just for us and it’s hot and REALLY nice!’
Cari said ‘ I love my lunch because…it is always delicious, the dinner ladies are lovely and the dining room is a really nice environment’
Sophie said ‘I love my library because it is a calm and peaceful place I can go to and read. I especially love it when it is ‘Film Friday’ because I can watch a film with my friends’
Sarah said ‘I love my library because…it gives me a place to relax. I also love the friendly librarians – they always have smiles on their faces!’

On the last day of this half term, we have encouraged readers to take a book on a ‘blind date’ and fall in love with a new author. We hope our readers enjoy trying something new!
