Peer Mediators

Peer Mediation is a form of conflict resolution in which trained Year 6 leaders help their peers in Years 3, 4 and 5 work together to resolve everyday disputes. It was introduced to the Junior School by Mrs Price last year and was really successful, giving all the girls the skills to resolve playground problems among their friends without always needing to turn to a teacher for intervention.

Following two afternoons of training, the Year 6 girls are now fully qualified and will begin wearing their blue peer mediator caps in the playground soon!
