The evening of Thursday 11th May marked the Rotary Interact handover from the outgoing Year 13 committee to the newly formed Year 12 committee. The outgoing committee are going to be a hard act to follow. They have raised over £2500 this year for a wide range of charities including Bobath, Marie Curie Pay for a Day Hospice Appeal, MacMillan and Alalay, through a variety of events including leg waxing, cake sales, a charity 6th Form netball match, evening socials and their stalls at the Christmas Fayre. The chain of office was passed from the outgoing presidents Caitlin D and Jess C to new presidents Catrin B and Ella F at a celebratory meal at TGI Fridays, which was well attended by members of both committees. We were also joined by Heather and Richard from the Youth Committee of the ‘Rotary Club of Cardiff Breakfast’. Congratulations to all our Interactors on their hard work this year.
