South Wales Youth Hockey League

On Sunday 20th November, two Under 11 hockey teams from Year 5 and 6 converged in Newport for the latest instalment of the South Wales Youth Hockey League. The HSL teams were joined by teams from Gwent, Penarth, Rhondda and Bridgend. In what proved to be a great experience and a highly successful morning of hockey, the girls took part in eight matches altogether. They combined to win five matches, draw one and lose two, showing great team chemistry and playing some highly impressive hockey throughout. Thank you to their parents for giving up their Sunday morning, and to all the girls for taking part! We look forward to the next meeting in December!
