INDOOR ROWING
Girls from Years 7, 8 and 9 took part in the Cardiff Games Indoor Rowing competition at the Welsh Institute of Sport at Sophia Gardens. The girls were able to compete individually and also as part of the relay team. Eight girls rowed at the same time, and they could see their rowing boat progress across the screen in relation to all the other girls in the race. The individual event is seeing how many metres you can row in a given time.
The Year 7 results: Becky D 3rd, Olivia H 5th, Imogen F 6th and Rosie T 12th
The relay team came 8th  
Year 8 results:  Katie G 1st, Fiona W 4th, Anna D-P 7th Zoe H 12th 
The relay team came 2nd.
Year 9 results:  Izzy W 2nd, Lucy C 10th, Elen T and Alice B 21st=  and Molly G 23rd 
Well done to all the girls, some very competitive rowing took place.

HOCKEY
Year 9 hockey team were victorious in the Cardiff County hockey tournament at Glantaf on Thursday 2nd February, and have qualified for the Welsh finals in Wrexham in March. Well done all.

NETBALL
Year 7-10 played Cathedral School last weekend and won 4 out of 7 matches.
Year 9 Netball team played Radyr and A team won and B team drew.

Elan J was awarded the most improved “Most Improved Student 2016” on Saturday 31st January 2017 at her Brazilian Jujitsu (BJJ) class presentation. 
 
Charlotte H junior synchro skating team won gold, making them British junior synchronised skating champions.
