Welsh School’ Ski Championships

Howell's skiers from the Junior School, Senior School and the College skied brilliantly at the Welsh Schools’ Dry Ski Slalom Championships on Sunday 8th October at the Urdd Centre in Llangrannog.  Junior skiers Amelie L (Year 6) and Charlotte H (Year 3) were the first to ski and both new to this event. Competition was stiff with over 50 racers, and Charlotte won Bronze in the U8 category. She was one of the youngest skiers on the slope.

In the secondary competition, there were over 100 racers from all over Wales.  Our senior girls Caitlin M (Year 12) and Laura H (Year 7) performed very well.  Caitlin made her debut as a senior skier and acquitted herself well on her first outing. This was Laura’s first senior race and she achieved Silver in the U12 unregistered category.
Well done girls!
