On Thursday 16th February, Year 2 enjoyed a grrrrreat visit to the National Museum Cardiff to extend their learning on dinosaurs. The girls saw the exhibition of a new dinosaur, 'Dracoraptor Hanigani' discovered locally in Penarth and enjoyed making their own sketches of the remains as well as finding out more facts about recent local discoveries. The 'Evolution of Wales' exhibition also gave the girls chance to discover a variety of different dinosaurs, find out about their eggs and begin to discuss a variety of scientific theories regarding how dinosaurs became extinct.
