The U13a team started off very strong, taking the first centre pass which resulted in a quick goal. Taylor held the centre court with precision and accuracy which contributed to the ball travelling into our attacking end quickly. Becky D’s shooting was on point obtaining above 90% accuracy on her total attempts. When the ball did head into the opposition's area, Katie applied good pressure and made several interceptions. The final score was 12-5 and Taylor was voted Player of the Match. The U13b team started well, gaining the first goal and it was a very close game. Becky L played very well in the centre, moving quickly to send the ball into our attacking circle. Their GK was a strong player who often intercepted the ball, however when Grace did get her fingers to the touch she was able to shoot with precision and accuracy.
