To mark the end to another exciting year of sport at Howell’s, on Monday 30th June we had a special Sport Awards Assembly to celebrate excellent achievements of students from Years 7 to 9. Before the sport awards were presented we said goodbye and thank you to Mrs Gosney, our Deputy Principal, who is leaving Howell’s to take on a permanent role at ESTYN. We were delighted to be joined by special guest Ryan Spencer-Jones, Welsh shot put star, who presented awards to our students. The Year 7 gymnastics team performed a wonderful routine. Many congratulations to all who received awards and thank you to the Sports staff for their encouragement, support and hard work this year.
