Outstanding set of A-level results for Howell’s College Students

Many congratulations to our college students who are celebrating yet another impressive set of A-level results. This year, 23% of all results were achieved at the highest A* grade, with 54% receiving A*- A grades. In total, 84% of all results were A*- B grades.

Identical twins Anuja and Shailja C. received identical results, both gaining A*s in Maths and Biology, and As in Chemistry, a fantastic achievement.  They will now both go on to study Medicine at Cardiff University.

Carys G. gained an outstanding set of results, A*s in Chemistry, Maths and Biology.  Carys has also been awarded a scholarship to study BA Accounting and Business at Reading University where she will make her mark in the traditionally male dominated finance and accounting sector.

Five students gained places at prestigious Oxbridge universities. Ben T.will read Classics at Oxford, Jess C.; Medicine at Oxford, Isobel E.; Medicine at Cambridge, Sophie L.; Classics at Cambridge and Eleanor F.; Architecture at Cambridge.
