Class of '84 hold reunion in school

On Saturday 6th September, a beautiful sunny day, a group of seven Hywelians who took their A Levels in the summer of 1984 returned to school for the first time in thirty years! They were joined by Miss Hannah Roberts from the Marketing and Development team and by Mrs Sully, who used to teach them History; in fact, four of the seven were in her A Level History class! After pre-lunch drinks, they enjoyed a delicious lunch prepared by our cook Suzanne and her assistant Janet, and then Mrs Sully took them on a tour of the school. When the group left school, there was no Junior School, no Sports Hall complex and no carpet in the Stone Hall - to mention but three of the obvious differences from today. The group were very interested in the changes and it was altogether a very happy occasion, We hope that they, and others from their cohort, will be able to attend future Hywelian events. it was a real pleasure to see them and to hear their news.
