On Tuesday 15th March we held our second Celebration of Languages Evening for Senior School students in the Great Hall. The evening was hosted by our College Language Leaders and included a mixture of sketches, poetry, songs, instrumental performances and recitations in Latin, German, Welsh, Spanish, French and English. The evening culminated with all the students performing a rousing, multilingual rendition of Adele’s “Hello”, which was a very fitting end to the evening. Our kitchen staff provided a delicious buffet of French, German, Welsh and Spanish delicacies, which was accompanied by Morwenna B., from Year 9, playing a selection of musical items on her harp. It was lovely evening and we would like to thank all the parents who came to support us and, of course, all the students who participated.
