Katie J. (Year 11) has been accepted onto the High School Composition Intensive course at Boston Conservatory in the summer of 2016. This is a two-week program designed to challenge and engage students who are serious about music composition.
The ABRSM Music examination results have been wonderful for students who took ABRSM Music Practical and Theory examinations in March. A terrific 100% pass rate, which included seven distinctions. Special congratulations to Hannah W. (Year 13) who achieved her grade 8 violin and to Riya K. (Year 11) who received a distinction in grade 8 singing.
Many congratulations to Tabitha H. (Year 7) who achieved a high merit in her grade 7 cornet examination and to Chloe C. (Year 9) who achieved a merit in her recent grade 7 Violin exam.
Twenty-six students took their LCM musical theatre examinations in March. A wonderful set of results were achieved by students which included eighteen distinctions. Special congratulations to Olivia D. (Year 12), Emily E. (Year 12) and Lauren H. (Year 12) who all gained their diplomas.
