Many congratulations to our BPW Public Speaking Team who travelled to Oswestry on Saturday 19th March and defeated several excellent teams to win the national final. The students gave a really exceptional performance to win this competition. Caitlin D. was a relaxed and charming chairman and Sasha Y. gave a precise and sincere vote of thanks. The speech, originally written by Nia M-R, was atmospherically and intelligently presented by Sian-A E who went on to give a masterclass in answering several challenging questions from the audience. She also won the special prize for the best performer of the day. Together these girls made a formidable team and we should be very proud of them. Many thanks to their supportive, dedicated and interested parents.
