Nursery news, 3rd - 6th May

This week the girls had a visit from PC Pope. He talked about people who help us, from the fire brigade to the ambulance service, the coast guard and police. He taught the girls how to cross the road safely. They also had a chance to try on his police hats, which was lots of fun.
The discussions on maps continued and the girls started learning how to use a compass. They also had some lovely clues: they looked at some beautiful objects from Vietnam, a doll from Africa, and even found a mermaid comb! The girls' imaginations are amazing and the wonderful magical moments they create are priceless. They had lots of fun creating their own treasure maps and there has been a huge effort to try to find Iolo and Taff.
