The new Year 13 Rotary Interact Committee, very ably led by Presidents Jess C. and Caitlin D., held their first fundraising event on 23rd June. Supported by fellow College students, Hywelians, staff, Rotarians from the Whitchurch and Cardiff Bay clubs and Rotaractors from Cardiff University, the quiz evening was a real success, raising over £100 for the 'Pay for a day' scheme supporting our local Penarth Hospice appeal. Teams battled admirably with anagrams, TV theme tunes, strange animal facts and British traditional food trivia, but there could only be one winning team - the Senior School staff! Well done to all involved and thank you to everyone who came to support. We look forward to your next event!
