Staff and Students Charity Netball Match

On Friday, two Senior School staff teams and two College teams played netball in the annual mini-tournament. All monies collected from entrance tickets and the sweet sale are to be donated to Alalay, a charity that we have been involved with for a number of years which seeks to take orphans off the streets of Santa Cruz, Bolivia,  offering them a home and a chance at gaining an education. This event was organised by our College Rotary Interact Committee and was run to coincide with our annual Languages Week Celebrations. Competition was fierce, and it was the students who were award the shield this year by our Deputy Principal, Mrs Chyba, breaking a three year staff winning streak.
Congratulations to the Student Red Team and the runners up the Staff Blue team, and a big thank you to everyone who was involved.
