Izzy P. reaches final in British Junior Rowing Championships

On Saturday 20th September Izzy P., in Year 11, and her rowing doubles partner put in a strong performance at the British Junior Rowing Championships  in Nottingham, where they  qualified for Sunday’s semi-final despite horrendous rain storms.  The pair sculled brilliantly and went on to secure a place in the 'A' final  where they put in a fantastic performance finishing in 5th position, narrowly missing out on 4th place, in what was a very tight race. With two other crews from Llandaff Rowing Club also reaching the 'A' final, this is undoubtedly the best performance by junior rowers in the club’s history which is a fantastic achievement. Well done ,Izzy!
