The Great Fire of Llandaff

On Tuesday 15th November, Year 2 had a bitter-sweet experience as a culmination to their topic on 'Fire'. Earlier on in the term they had each constructed a beautiful Tudor house and then the time came to call upon the Fire Brigade, Blue Watch from Ely, to help us reenact a Pudding Lane incident. 350 years on from the original Great Fire of London the girls witnessed how quickly a fire takes hold, travels and reduces everything to ash! This was a wonderful experience for us all and an event that will always be remembered. Many thanks to Blue Watch in Ely for all their help with this reenactment.
