Year 12 and Year 13 students recently attended a Conference for Welsh Learners at Gwersyll yr Urdd, Glan-llyn in North Wales. The students were able to practise speaking the language outside the classroom as well as attend workshops and lectures given by poets and authors. They were also fortunate to visit Bangor University and attend a play, Y Glec performed in Bala. The highlight of the course was the gig performed by the Welsh band Swnami, around the campfire and under the stars - a memorable end to an exciting few days!
