On Tuesday, Howell's College hosted its fourth Honours Lecture for 2016-17. We were very fortunate to have been joined by Professor David Jackson from Cardiff University, who shared with us his fascinating research into postcards that were sent home from the Front in WW1. Interestingly, these were postcards sent by the German military and gave the students an insight into the power of propaganda, and into the way this was manipulated at different points during the war.
