The event was held at Channel View Centre in Cardiff and consisted of individual events for each age group as well as team events for U13 and U16. Everyone rowed to the best of their ability and their team spirit and enthusiasm shone through.

Katie G is the U13 Welsh Schools Indoor rowing champion and won in impressive style. Fiona B was the Bronze medal winner, an impressive feat as she only started rowing a few weeks ago. In the U16 category Olivia W rowed brilliantly and clinched the Bronze medal by beating her personal best time by a staggering 7 seconds. Both the U13 and U16 teams took part in the team event. The U13 crew came 4th and the U16s out-rowed the competition and won the race by a good margin to become the U16 Welsh Indoor Schools Team champions.

In the College Individual completion both Jess C and Oliver R won bronze medals. They started rowing as part of the College rowing programme at the start of this term, so again a really good effort from both of them
All in all it was a brilliant competition and the Howell's rowers have claimed two Welsh Schools Indoor rowing titles. Congratulations to all.
