On Tuesday 6th December, year 12 and 13 historians were lucky enough to take part in the Great War debate at Barry Memorial Hall. They had the opportunity to listen to a panel of expert historians including military historians Taff Gillingham, Dan Hill and BBC historian Professor Dominic Sandbrook. They were discussing; was the war on the Eastern Front a pointer and precursor to later Nazi plans of conquest and genocide? James Waters was fortunate enough to have his question discussed by the panel. It was a very enjoyable and informative event.
