Carols in Llandaff Cathedral

Howell’s held its services of nine lessons and carols in the stunning setting of Llandaff Cathedral on Tuesday 13th December at 1.45pm and 7pm. It was Mrs Phillips’ 25th year at the helm of the carol services, so they were particularly special occasions this year.  The services included stellar performances from the College Choir, Orchestra, Senior Choir, Wind Band and Youth Choir.  In the afternoon,  girls from Years 5 and 6 joined the congregation and treated us to a lovely performance of Ymhell yn Ôl and Just a Single Candle. Students, staff and governors read the nine lessons and we are very grateful to them all. Many thanks to everyone at the Cathedral for all they did to make the services such a success.  Thank you to Mrs Phillips, Miss Cooksey, Miss Bowden, Mr Beckett, Mr Cheeke and all the staff involved.
