Year 4 Visit The Wales Millennium Centre

When we arrived at the Millennium Centre, we played some awesome games. Our favourite was called Nasty Giant where we acted like book characters. Afterwards, we visited The Wondercrump World of Roald Dahl. It took us on a tour of some of the highlights of Roald’s life. We were able to see that he was a fighter pilot in WW2 and we walked along sand like he did when he crash landed in Libya! This was amazing because he shrunk by 3 inches to 6 foot 2 inches due to this accident! The Twit room was funny as everything was upside down! Later on, we took part in a music workshop. We created music to accompany The Magic Finger story. We were able to choose instruments and played along with the story, matching music to the emotions of the story. We think that it was an amazing day and would definitely like to visit again!
