Last weekend, 8-9th July, saw the hosting of this year’s GDST Oxbridge Conference at Clare College, Cambridge. Five Howell’s College students as well as Miss Hughes and Frau Sadler had a glorious weekend of sunshine, study and social events. Staying in student accommodation at Clare College, attending lectures and taking part in small-group teaching sessions, and enjoying a formal college dinner all gave students a real feel for what studying at Oxbridge is like, as well as helpful information and advice on how to make a competitive application and how to approach an Oxbridge interview.
Next year’s conference will also be hosted at Clare College, Cambridge on the weekend of 7th and 8th July. Booking forms will be available from Mrs Wilks and Miss Hughes in due course.
