Sunday 27th April saw Howell’s Equestrian Team competing at the National Schools’ Equestrian Association show-jumping competition at West Wiltshire Equestrian Centre, organised by St. Mary’s Calne. Louise S. (Year 8) and Ellie M. (Year 7) put on an impressive performance, with Louise competing at 70cm and 80cm and Ellie at 70cm. Competition was very stiff with around 600 entrants from state and independent schools from the Wales and West of England region. It was a very long day for our team, but they rode extremely well, with Ellie finishing just a couple of seconds outside the qualifying time for the Championships. Good luck to you both this Sunday at Pinewood School’s Show Jumping event in Gloucestershire.
