Howell's skiers had phenomenal success in the regional ski slalom competition on 2nd July, winning an amazing 15 medals. Our junior team, Jojo B., Fiona B. Katie G. (all Year 5) and captain Lilli J (Year 6) came first overall in the primary competition. They also had a number of individual successes. Lilli came first in the U12 registered category and was the fastest primary school racer overall. Jess M. (Year 1) and Lucy M. (Year 3), our youngest racers, skied brilliantly with Jess coming second in the U8 category.
Our senior team, Louise S., Bronwen E. (both Year 8), Holly B. (Year 7), and captain Holly C. (Year 11) came second overall in the secondary school competition, just 4 seconds behind the winning team. They were also joined by Hannah R. (Year 8) who competed as an individual. Louise and Holly C. skied particularly well and are the U14 and U18 champions. The teams are now looking forward to the Welsh National Championships in Llangrannog in October. Well done, everyone!
