At the end of January, Year 9's Lucy M, headed to Champery, Switzerland for the Welsh Alpine Ski Championships. After an intensive training camp, she competed in the under 14 slalom and giant slalom categories against girls from all over the world including Australia and even Dubai! Lucy skied well and completed all her runs in challenging conditions, finishing 6th in the slalom and 7th in the giant slalom for the Welsh team.
