On Friday 27th January 2017, we returned to the splendid setting of the Lansdowne Club, in the heart of Mayfair, for our annual Bowls and Bubbly evening for Hywelians. This year, it was a pleasure to welcome more than 75 Hywelians of all ages for an entertaining evening that included glasses of bubbly and bowls of delicious food. Judging by the peels of laughter that emanated from every corner of the room, we can only guess that a good time was had by all. Guests were treated to a superb performance by acapella singing group, All the King’s Men, who are all students at King’s College, London and include Robert Lindsay’s (Howell’s Class of 2014 and former head boy) among their number. We were particularly delighted that Cheryl Giovannoni (the new CEO at the GDST) and Glen Fendley (Head of Development at the GDST) were able to join us for the evening. It was a wonderful occasion, and we were thrilled to see so many of our Hywelians together.
