On Monday 16th December, the Great Hall was once again transformed into a sophisticated cocktail lounge for our seventh Cocktails at Christmas event for Hywelians. It gets more popular every year and this time we had a record turnout of more than 140 alumni ranging in age from 18 to a very sprightly 92 joining us, along with current and former staff. As well as the customary cocktails, the gin bar was a real hit with guests. There was a definite buzz and much laughter in the room as people caught up over cocktails and nibbles, provided by our unbeatable catering team. The evening was brought to a close with a fabulous festive performance from our Performing Arts Group. Thank you to everyone who joined us and made it such a special occasion.
