This week we celebrated the European day of Languages with our annual Languages week. Students took part in a range of activities including French and Latin film workshops, poster competitions, Welsh singing, Italian taster lessons and much more. During an assembly delivered by the whole department, students enjoyed finding out more about the Aztecs as well as French Creole. We also explored the influence of Latin on other languages and what we can learn from Welsh about the preservation of minority languages. The catering staff once again helped us celebrate with a range of delicious international cuisine. A fun week was had by all. Huge thanks go out to everyone involved!
