Congratulations to Diya, Year 6, who has come 29th out of 13,000 entries in the recent Jaguar Maths in Motion race. The competition aims to encourage the practical use of mathematics, applying basic maths, science and engineering skills (including measuring angles and using multiplication, percentages and decimals) to an exciting virtual motor racing experience. She’s done tremendously well as it was an international race and there were so many children involved, up to 16 years old.
