On Tuesday 6th November, a selection of our dancers visited the Dance House at the Welsh Millennium Centre to watch the National Dance Company Wales dancers perform in their Autumn Tour, Roots. The dancers led us through an evening of discovery with a selection of exciting contemporary works. Full of wit, character and stunning movement, the evening also included discussion and anecdotes from the artists and dancers.
The theatre visit complimented the educational workshops that NDCW delivered to the students earlier this term.
The theatre and workshop programme was a fantastic experience for our students who were very inspired by the end of the evening.
Miss Batchelor is keen to work alongside NDCW and other dance companies to provide further opportunities in Dance for girls who attend dance club.
