After two weeks of breathtaking tennis on view at Wimbledon, we were excited to hold our first annual Parent and Child tennis tournament, The Davis Jug, on Wednesday 17th July.
The evening was a complete success, allowing students to build sporting memories with their parents on the courts. There were some serious rivalries which kept a level of intensity, and some beautiful displays of humility when the very youngest competitors were taking part.
The supporters were very keen on the side-lines and enjoyed the ice creams and drinks provided. Court-side chat suggests that many will start their training now for next year’s tournament!
