On Thursday 12th November, Year 11 took part in a fantastic Future Aspirations Day in the Great Hall. The aims of the day were to understand the future demands of the workplace, plan for future employment skills, increase confidence about how to present yourself, research subject choices to support your career pathway and prepare for change. The action packed day included a Cadbury interactive teamwork task, hearing from young professionals from a variety professions over video link, carousel time with Chloe Smith (Bigmoose), Rachel Eling (Howell’s Marketing Team and freelance journalist) and Tom Griffin (Cutaway). Mrs Davis talked about what it takes to be employed at Howell’s. We hope students enjoyed the day and found it helpful. Thank you to Mrs House and Mrs Thelwell for organising the day which was a great success.
