It was a week of glitter and sparkle in the Nursery as the staff and girls began preparations for their Christmas Concert, with the girls learning their dance routines and words to the songs. They also focused on the sound ‘i’ and learnt about insects and their six legs. The girls pretended to be insects crawling through long grass, thick oozy mud and dry autumn leaves. On Friday they had a treat during our snack time, with a visit from four of the 'old' Nursery girls who are now in Year 3. To mark the end of Diwali they showed the Nursery girls their dance. Everyone liked their costumes and one little girl asked, "Can I come back to Nursery to show my dance when I'm a big girl?"
