Visit of Breton link school

On Wednesday 16th December, we were very pleased to welcome a visit from our Breton link school in Brest. 47 French students spent the morning with our Year 10 and 11 GCSE French students. They visited Science, French and English lessons and had a tour of the school with our own Historian  and Archivist, Mrs Sully. At break they were treated to Welsh cakes and galettes (a Breton speciality with absolutely no calories!). Our guests then had an enjoyable afternoon at Big Pit before joining our students for bowling at the Red Dragon Centre. It was a very successful visit and there was a lot of franglais and laughter. We are hoping that the students will continue to stay in touch and we are exploring the possibility of a return visit to Brittany.
