Five of Howell's Suzuki pianists took part in the Epta national piano competition first round on Saturday 30th January in the school's Great Hall, and a remarkable four got through to the Finals which will be held at the RWCMD on Saturday 13th February. The youngest pupil, Emily Z. (from Year 1) received distinction in the Elementary category. The other competitors were in categories Intermediate I, Intermediate II and Advanced I. Congratulations to them all, and to Mrs Bird, their tutor. Good luck to the finalists!
