Congratulations to both Rosie T. (Year 11) and Kitty N. (Year 7) who recently took part in the Welsh Indoor Climbing Competition. Rosie is now Welsh Champion and Kitty, who came second have both been selected to compete at the British Indoor Climbing Championships in Edinburgh on Saturday 23rd April.
There was more great hockey played by the Year 8 team on Sunday 10th April, as they progressed to the South Wales finals which will take place on Saturday 16th April following five wins from their five games! Well done to all girls involved in what was one of the best performances of a very impressive year so far. Good luck in the upcoming finals.
Charlotte J. (Year 10) spent a week of her Easter with the Welsh under 16 and 18 hockey squad, who played test series against Switzerland. She played in numerous matches and enjoyed much success, finding the net frequently and helping the Welsh girls to a number of great victories. It proved to be a highly successful trip for Wales, who proved to be too strong for their Swiss opposition.
Year 13 had an exciting social dodgeball event on Thursday 17th March. The results were: Lewis - 1st, Baldwin - 2nd, Trotter - 3rd, Kendall - 4th!
