Year 7 have completed the third heat of the Year 7 Spelling Bee; they competed in French, Spanish and Welsh in lessons, and in German through German club. A maximum of two students per language are able to go through to the National Final on the 5th July in Aberystwyth. The competition is designed to be fun and also demanding! Each competitor had to compete against the clock to translate and spell as many words as possible from the 150-word list in one minute. All the girls participating had worked very hard to learn their vocabulary. The competition was fierce, and the results were close.
