Girls in Year 10 were enthralled by a Royal Shakespeare Company performance of the Merchant of Venice on Thursday 21st April which brought to life the characters they have been studying since September. They joined schools across the UK to take part in a live RSC broadcast of the play set against a dazzling modern backdrop. Cheers rang out as a question written by Isabelle F. was answered on air by the actor playing Antonio in the production and everyone was thrilled to see Howell’s School mentioned in the credits at the end of the broadcast.
