On Sunday 24th April, sisters Olivia and Claudia M. competed for Cardiff City Swimming Club in the Arena League A final. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Joe D., Ash T. and Ben J. won the WRU Welsh Youth Cup with Cowbridge Youth. The tournament had 160 youth teams entered from across Wales and the final was played against Cardiff Met Youth in the Principality Stadium which the team won 13-6. Congratulations to the boys!

 

 

 

 

 

 

Many congratulations to the following girls who were selected for the U14 and U16 Welsh Rounders Team:
U14: Jessica J., Eleanor Ll., Annabelle W., Alicia L., Lily R.
U16: Caitlin C. 

Trials on Saturday 23rd April at Monmouth School were very competitive. All girls performed very well. The girls look forward to training and the international match against England on Saturday 3rd July.

Lily R. is representing Howell’s in the British Schools’ Gymnastics Competition this weekend. We wish her the best of luck!

 

 

 

 

 

 

Rosie T. and Kitty N. were in Edinburgh last weekend representing Wales at the British Youth Climbing finals! An amazing achievement; well done, girls! 

The Year 8 hockey team are playing in the Welsh Cup final on Sunday in Swansea! They are the only school team in Wales who compete in the league, playing against clubs! Congratulations to the girls and best of luck for Sunday we look forward to seeing you play!

 

 

 

 

 

 

Well done to Year 7 girls who played against St. Johns on Tuesday. It was a fun, friendly coaching match for both teams where the development of player knowledge and understanding was the focus of the game. Congratulations to Layla W. who won Player of the Match! 

Two Year 7 teams played a fantastic tournament of matches at the Cathedral School on 26th April. Congratulations to the teams who came 1st and 3rd: a very promising start to the season!
