On Tuesday Year 10 participated in our highly successful Employers' Day. They enjoyed important presentations about the world of work, including an insight into what employers look for in a successful interviewee. DVD clips were shown to identify potential jobs of the future, the power of our body language and the role of work experience. Time was set aside for the students to research and reflect upon their Futurewise profiles and to consider their next stage: planning work experience in Year 11. Year 10 looked very neat and professional in their interview attire and very much enjoyed attending interviews and networking with 14 employers who gave of their time so generously. This was a very busy and buzzy event with our employers reporting positive interaction with our students.
