Last Friday, Year 12 spent the day in the Bay, undertaking a range of fun activities including bowling, paddle boarding, kayaking, speed-boating and cycling. Luckily the weather was on our side and we were able to enjoy ice cream at Cadwaladers and a delicious lunch at the Bayside Brasserie. The day was a resounding success with students getting to know each other and starting to bond as a year group. This year, Howell’s College is made up of students form 19 different schools, so this was a great way for them to meet socially.
During the day we also set Year 12 a ‘Bay Challenge’, and the winners were Amy, Rosie, Elin, Elinor, Robyn, Peter and Gopikaa. The winners of the selfie competition were Tabby, Ben, Jess and Chloe. Well done and enjoy your treats from Sally D’s!
