Year 7 had a fantastic time teambuilding on Friday 26th September as part of their ‘First 20’ programme. After a fiercely competitive House quiz in the Library, we split into forms to prepare and perform our own version of a Welsh folk story. Miss Wilcox, Mrs Elmes, Miss Horton and Mrs King then enjoyed performances of ‘Gelert’ from 7H, ‘Blodeuwedd’ from 7L and ‘Cantre’r Gwaelod’ from 7S. It was lovely to see the whole form involved in each one and the girls came up with very original ideas for staging and plot. After lunch, we headed to Boulders climbing centre to take part in energetic group bonding games together before eating dinner at TGI Friday with the Year 7 Prefects. The girls met and mingled with everyone in the year group during the day and made firm friends.
